This is my visual proposal for my interface. All of the thumbnails will be “floating” – meaning the user will be able to drag them around. The menu will display my “tags” or categories, and when toggled the relationship between the peices and their respective tags will be visualized.

Basically, I figured out that coding this is way over my head. I will work on a mockup of the layout, and then see if maybe I can come up with an alternative way of doing it. One way would be to create buttons that “switched” on and off movieclips in flash, but it wouldnt be very dynamic.

I got a little further today, as I managed to display the project title in a dynamic text field with actionscript. Doing progress on handling the data in Flash.
